Sex Talks Podcast aims to equip young people with factual  Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights information. In this podcast, we inform, educate and empower you with the necessary information through sharing stories from other young people as well as experts in the field.

Here on Sex Talks Podcast,  we openly discuss sexual health matters in a youthful manner without any judgment or fear.  We discuss issues that society considers as taboo as well as those that our parents find uncomfortable to discuss with us.

Join our family of young people that come together every second Wednesday of the month to educate one another through relatable stories and open conversations.

Your health and well-being are our priority!

Meet your host

Selma Ndasilohenda Iyambo is a 21-year-old Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Activist that is passionate about community work, empowering and representing young people in all their diversity. She has over five years of experience in working with young people in the area which all started when she began to volunteer at the Namibia Planned Parenthood Association (NAPPA). At NAPPA she served as the Youth Representative to the board. Since 2020, Selma has used her journalism expertise and experience in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights to contribute articles to online teen magazines such as Sister Namibia, AfterBreak Magazine, and now Infinity Youth Magazine where she is the Health Corner Hub Editor.

Currently, she is also the Her Voice Fund Ambassador to Namibia, Women Energize Women Ambassador to Namibia, a final year Bachelors of Arts in Media Studies student at the University of Namibia, and the Founder of the Sex Talks Podcast.

Thank you for creating a space where young people can openly talk about their sexual journey without feeling “ashamed ” . Keep it up, looking forward to more discussions.

I loved every part of this podcast. Mehafo expresses herself really well and I can relate and learn from her and as well as Selma. This is brilliant and I’d definitely listen to the next podcast.
